Bruce Weber obtained a Mechanical Engineering Degree and worked as a Field Engineer directing labor and tracking expenses on huge multi-million dollar turbine generator projects for General Electric as his first job out of college. After many careers in multiple fields he returned to the construction industry to bring engineering disciplines to residential construction.

 

In 2011 he prepared for and passed the exam to receive Project Management Professional credentials from the Project Management Institute, a global organization dedicated to advancing the professionalism and ethics of project managers all over the world.

Develop efficient and professional relationships with lenders engineers, building inspectors, utility companies, developers, and the client.

Provide knowledge and sources to expedite the selection of all the components in the house.

Generate verbal or written materials evaluations and performance reviews when required.

Maintain good relationships with a high quality team of professional subcontractors and vendors.

Provide project scheduling and decision timing information in modified Gant chart spreadsheet form, and calculate an accurate finish date as soon as possible.

Continuously update the client on a range of subjects from potential problems, to possible alternate component selections.

Charge a diminishing management fee of 20 - 15% of  materials and labor; an amount near the discounts and savings a good builder will provide.  Fix the amount to the detailed cost estimate.
