Havencroft works as your partner in the construction of your home, providing all the knowledge and expertise you need to make the process as stress-free as possible. As a full service company we can work with you on all aspects of the process from finding and purchasing the lot to the design and estimating of your custom home through to completion.






Most of the time with truly custom homes, the client owns the lot and gets the construction loan. Havencroft Inc is hired as the general contractor using a straight-forward contract. In this case there is no purchase or closing. The property you already own is simply improved by the addition of the new home.
An initial payment is made to Havencroft, and then as construction proceeds, the bank releases more of the loan based on inspections to determine the percentage of completion.
Havencroft handles all of the details of interfacing with inspectors, appraisers, bank estimators, all sub-contractors, and most suppliers. We handle all the details of scheduling all of the work and purchases.
We provide you with suggested sources for you to pick out plumbing and lighting fixtures, and other items requiring your personal input.
We are available to talk about any problems or concerns you may have, and we handle all problems professionally and quickly.

The cost of you new home is the sum of all labor and material costs, plus a fixed profit for the builder. The exact amount earned by Havencroft is known up front as part of a cost plus contract.
And that amount is usually not much more than the difference between what Havencroft pays for labor and materials, and what you would have to pay as a one time owner/builder.
In other words, having a prize winning designer and builder handle all the details and problems for you, won't cost you much more than trying to do it yourself, even if you managed to stay on schedule!
